Radovanovic Grk

Tasting Notes: Grk is an indigenous grape from Dalmatian island Korčula which grows on only 15 hectares around the small town of Lumbarda. A classically rich and flavourful Grk. It perfectly exhibits the fine balance of stone fruit, minerality and salinity, combined with an endearing bitterness that is so typical of this variety.
 
Pairing Recommendation: Seafood, fish, any kind of risottos and white meat.

Vinification:  Single tank, single vineyard 50% young 50% old vines(around 50 years old).   Co-planted with plavac mali for pollination of Grk.  Natural and manual maintenance in the vineyard, manual picking, manual processing of fruit.  After harvest 6 hours cold maceration.  No wood used.  After fermentation, wine is bottled and bottle aged.
