Welcome to Croatia 2.0!

The Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce is excited to host this virtual event and bring to you guest speakers with first hand experience of doing business in Croatia, doing business with Croatia from Canada, and supporters of the Croatia 2.0 renaissance!

The event will be moderated by Jos Schmitt, co-founder and CEO of the NEO Exchange, and Director of Canada based Croatia Unpacked and Croatia based Experience Istria.
Jos will initially be joined by his fellow Dutchman, Jan de Jong, co-founder of Croatia based Webpower Adria and the Digital Nomads Association of Croatia, for an engaging discussion around Croatia 2.0, and the realities and opportunities that exist today with regards to working in Croatia, working with Croatia, or working from Croatia.
Jos will then be joined by the award winning Croatian winemaker and wine industry pioneer, Moreno Coronica, owner of Coronica Winery in Istria, to discuss today's wine scene in Croatia, and to talk about and taste a few great examples of Moreno's wines that are available in Ontario today. Every event needs some good refreshment, and these will not disappoint!
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with Moreno, Jan and Jos, on a variety of topics in virtual break out rooms following the key note sessions mentioned above. Don't miss this unique chance to learn about Digital Nomad opportunities in Croatia, gain and share professional insights, and embrace a tasting experience with the winemaker.

Leanna Larose (The Olive Board) and Saša Muradori (Croatia Unpacked) will join Moreno in one of the break out sessions for those interested to delve deeper into the wonderful world of Croatian wine and food pairings.
