Tasting Notes: Grk is an indigenous grape from Dalmatian island Korčula which grows on only 15 hectares around the small town of Lumbarda. Bire Grk is a medium-full bodied and well structured wine. Grown on stony and sandy soil, it has strong minerality with very good acidity which gives freshness despite the very prominent body. "Chamomile and hay meadow nose with brioche, spice and banana. Waxy, saline and juicy with excellent concentration and a persistent finish." DWWA 2021
 
Pairing Recommendation: Seafood, fish, any kind of risottos and white meat.

Vinification: Grown on stony soil. The vine is noted for its dense upright shoots and its strong trunk. Grapes ripen at the end of August / beginning of September. The wine is vinified in stainless steel under temperature control. No sulphur is used during fermentation or bottling.
